1.7 has pretty much been this but 1.8 with the added AV nerfs is the final nail in the coffin ...
Infantry is dead R.I.P
PS Go check out PS2 on the PS4 leaked gameplay footage .. they have night time, trees ad you can climb over rocks without getting stuck and .. infantry and vehicles all have roles and are balanced |

Can you make suggestions about how to fix vehicle balance? What do you want to see addressed?

Swarm Launcher Damage Bug .. how that hasn;t been fixed after 4 months is beyond me
Tanks are too fast
increasing AV and flux grenades either in number or damage
reduced shield regen on shield tanks and reduced armor regen on armor tanks
Add penalties for dual harderners and reppers
increase bullet spray of blaster Tanks and reduce clip size
Reduce ammo capacity of all weapons on vehicles so they have to retreat and use supply depots more thus enhancing the waves of opportunity
any of these would be a start
there are plenty of threads out there with suggestions do we honestly need me to re hash the same points over and over again ? We've had 4 months of feedback already

Imagine what 1.8 is going to be like with even weaker AV than 1.7 ... shudder
We only have MLT and STD tanks as well .. imagine what it'll be like if AV n Tanks aren't balanced and we have adv and proto tanks added .. shudders even more |

Agreed Swarm lauchers I was recently told do not work right.
HAV are only too fast with Nitrous units, otherwise all modern armoured units can reach high speeds and mobility defying their size and weight.
I agree with hardeners, reducing their capacity to be fit, their durations, and or resistance values.
AV and flux nades.......sure I guess.
Regen on tanks is debatable.
Blaster spread sure thing....but I bet even then I will be able to snipe people at long range.
Ammo is something I did not consider.

I know some skilled players do it better than I, but can only get one remote on a tank unless they are deaf or stupid. Its not an overall solution to the massive tank imbalance just like the JLAV isn't. We need real AV and all racial variants of it. Then maybe the commando would truly have their own role on the battlefield and be the true AV option for the game.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Apparently I need to try jumping on the tank and riding it like a mechanical bull while dropping remotes on it. Sounds like its worth a try at least

Tanks are a lot more powerful than infantry. You nailed it there. Maybe that's because they're TANKS. A militia version only costs twice the amount of a decently fitted advanced suit. Put a few SP into vehicle upgrades and start learning to use a Sica. Having to account for vehicles makes the game more dynamic. The fact that you now earn WP from damaging them now is a major game changer.
The OP needs to accept that this game is designed for squads to be working in close communication, to think ahead, know the maps, and know what to do in situations that tend to come up a lot. Nyain San is so successful because they operate at almost hive mind level.
The people that are tired of getting roflstomped by tanks need to find a corp in which they can work in force multiplying squads. And if you want to destroy a 100-300,000 ISK tank all by yourself as an infantry, well you're gonna have to spend some ISK too. Nothing less than proto AV. |

Check Char's thread on AV and vehicle damage WPs, I proposed a fix with AV without making it to easy to destroy dropships and jeeps.

Think a good change would be reduce the number of deployable tanks (and maybe dropships) to
Ambush - 2 Domination - 2 or 3 Skirmish - 3
