Is it a good time to come back, I been good for a couple of months now. I see all this talk of new suits and guns and rebalance going on. Can I come back and enjoy the game or what are the major issues that'll slow me down?

Tanks everywhere.... most of the time. Give it a try once 1.8 is out next tuesday, I don't think I'm going to bother with it though.
After Uprisings release the forums were a bad place, I'll never forget how CCP screwed up so badly.

Seriously, if you've made it this long, thank God for letting you kick the habit and take up antique furniture restoration. When you get good at that, I've got this old rocker on the porch that needs help, and it ain't Mick Jagger.

If you are a tanker and to a lesser extent heavy then 1.8 is for you. I'll be sitting most of this build out myself though as I have no interest in either of those
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

1.8 has some new weapons and dropsuits but not much in the way of new content.
I would login once a day for the consecutive login bonus and to keep in contact with corpmates and in-game buds.

This is my plan, thus I can't say I'll completely sit this patch out. I know my guys will get me into games from time to time just to hang out them and logi for their OP sentinel butts
