I gave up on killing tanks months ago, but with the DS respec I'll be prepared with a FG.

Lol, I've killed many tanks with swarms of missiles, 3 people with mlt swarms will wisely force a tank to pull back

It was usually fire a round, toss 2 packed Ex-11s, fire 1 more SL round then toss your last nade and fire the final SL. BOOM! Soma down. But yeah, I have prof 3 on my FG(just went into before the event since Attorney General said to) and with a complex dmg mod and it worked pretty well for tanks and dropships. About the best you can hope is annoying the tank long enough for someone with a forge gun to come finish the job.
