I've got to get caught up in all this corp stuff. I only joined FA a couple of days ago, so I'm not familiar with all the alliances and stuff like that.
I was helping some friends out in a PC a few days ago against DDB not knowing that FA had a treaty with DDB not to ring against them. I did pretty well in the first battle (went 24/7) and afterwards, got the most hate mail I've ever gotten at once in my time playing this game, so I sat the second battle out. 
also, since I'm new, I don't expect to be brought into many PCs, but can someone at least fill me in on what's happening right now?

DDB and FA have no treaty of any kind and there are no talks to form one.
As for the rest of your concerns,
Speak to me in game or any other director of FA.

Some DDB members have been known to be be very disrespectful, but this doesn't apply to all of them by any means.
Like I said talk with me in game and I can fill you in on everything that is happening in MH.
One thing.I can already tell you is don't post here unless you are trolling or saying GG.
Posts like this just beg for the trolls to leave their bridges and flock to the nearest opportunity.

I was just as confused as you were. Alot of those guys are just getting back into the game and I think they were confusing you with NF. Lmfao at my corp for being a bunch of stoners and you for listening to them. When they mentioned it to me my only reply was "Since when?????" I didnt bother to argue, I was just happy to not have re's spammed off the bridge at me lol

To my knowledge, there are no restrictions on ringing for anyone else (except against FA, obviously).
IMO, it's best not to get too involved in the dramas. There's an awful lot of trash talk in this forum.
