Much like CoD what if they implemented a theater mode to snap pictures and record those edge of your seat moments or even pc..?
What would you guys think of something like this?

A proper theatre would be good. An innovational lobby that people could view matches in real time like Starcraft 2. |

I have had so many moments I wish I could go back and watch. Honestly I want it, but I want the game to develop more before we start talking about stuff like this. |

A little while back I posted a suggestion for kill cams that is somewhat similar. The basic idea is the killer gets to save the footage, not the victim. You can send the footage as killmails, post in corp chat, link your favorite kills to your character's public profile, etc. take a look and give it a bump if you like it.
Best PvE idea ever!

Only if it's done in a way that's not unusual. Since this is the eve universe I would like smarter way to implement this like a surveillance drone that take's up an equipment slot or something like that. If you just had straight up theater mode it would reduce immersion, and for a game like this that's not good. So if it's done right maybe. |

You see it would be great until people started using it to find snipers locations without searching during the match.
However a theater style mode would be great for making videos/movies and the like.
Although PS4 already has the personal capture system, so I'd be willing to wait till whenever they port over. 2015 2016 2020? Who knows, CCP and that's about it.

CCP should introduce stage theater mode. I'm down for a Dust 514 rendition of Tosca or Carmen or something.

One of the main challenges is the limitations in games, for example basically having an invisible, invincable buddy telling you where the enemies are and such.
One of the ways it could be gotten to work is in a private arena game mode or something along those lines.

What about the killcam as a killmail idea I posted above? This wouldn't have that issue.

I think what he was referring to a mode that automatically records footage of your games, and allows you to go back and review them. But I could just be misinterpreting.
