So when 1.8 drops i plan on running a support/ sort of slayer cal logi since i spent a quite a bit of sp on equipment(adv on all except nanohives which are proto) The 2 mill sp im getting from the event will go in dropsuit upgrades Soo with all that i will be getting just enough sp to have 1 more proto level role Assualts are out of the picture since a reload bonus isnt exactly something i want, so that leaves me with scout and heavy( maybe commando, but only if it looks good) If i go scout, i would be more solo oriented, except for my logi roles if i go heavy i would probably have alot more squad play( even though i know cal heavy is a more solo heavy i just like the safety of a squad backin me up especially if im gonna be a slow heavy)
Might go heavy cuz of that Awesome shield delay time also i would be healing shields at 100+ shields a second, but with those damned fluxes -.- |

Crimson ShieId wrote:Scouts are the most versatile. You can stack plates and shields, run cloaks and E-WARE and generally be a pain in the ass to the enemy team, put on regulators for fast shield recharging, go with multiple kincats for huge speed boosts... They just have so many more options versus heavies. Commandos at least have the option of playing differently, but heavies are regulated to one thing. Kill more dudes. You can do enough of that in your logi as is.
Edit: Did I mention they're also a helluva lot more fun?
I know its not like im not gonna go both, which ever one i pick will be proto first day the other will take weeks or even months to get proto |

Vell0cet wrote:One factor to consider is scouting is very skill intensive, you'll need great skills in sig damps, precision, and range, biotics, your fitting skills very high as well as cloaking to be most effective. Depending on what weapons you have points in, you may need to spec into ones with easy fitting requirements. Scouting is a ton of fun, and will make you better in other roles. You will start to see the battle from a very different perspective, anticipating where things are likely to go, instead of reacting to where they are now.
Commandos look like a lot of fun. Beefy, slow assaults, more-or-less. They look to be faster to transition into from your previous role.
Both options should be fun and interesting. The main question is do you want to be fast and fragile, or slow and tanky?
Got at least level 3 in all those that you described except in biotics i dont have those myofibrils. I know scouting is fun, i used to be a shotgun scout, but that was with adv gal. I would use the commando as an assualt like you said, The cal scout tho i will use it mainly as a scout hunter most like nothing else |
