DUST Search - Thought I'd introduce myself

Thanks, haha. I kind of assumed a forum based around a free to play fps might not be the best place for more serious players, but I love EVE enough to be part of it and try to contribute as I can.

My own personal experiences with fps games has not been the best (trolls and the like aside). It usually involves a lot of dying. I've played a few battles on DUST 514 today, which have all been terrible failures and is really making me not want to play it. I'd just really like to get good enough weapons and armour to at least live a little longer and actually know how to play the game best (just being thrown in like you are is a bit disorienting).

I'll definitely check those sections out! I really love to roleplay, so I expect to get into it very soon :)

I'm a huge SF fan, with my favourite universes being Mass Effect, EVE and Star Wars. I've been writing my own (more like thinking it up) SF universe which is very much inspired by these worlds that I hope might get published one day and perhaps even have a few video games set in them. In EVE, I like the Amarr and the Gallente. What is ironic is that the Gallente are a lot of things I really do not like, yet I really enjoy playing as them and I enjoy their (the main Gallentean) culture a lot. It was as Panere Junal that I started to actually get better at DUST 514, which I find incredibly ironic (my first character was as Falere Zateki, a True Amarr). I have a bit of a question regarding the main EVE forums, however. I am a trial user and I tried to post on the forums, but it won't let me (I've logged in and everything). Is that something to do with my trial status or something else? Thanks! [EDIT] It seems like I'm able to post in some forums but not the others.
