At least it won't be like Halo where youu're sitting there shooting at each other for 20 seconds.
Well actually, that would be kind of cool.

Edit: oh you're talking about cloaking...well at least you can't switch to your weapon or other equipment while cloaked like crysis.

two months ago i went to play crysis 3 for the ps3. That place is a ghost town there was not even 50 people on thank god i bought that game for 7 dollars. ive never saw an onlline community die so fast in the ps3 before.

Maybe it was the cloacking that killed the game i dont know, but i do know that i fear the cloack if it is done uncorrectly.

This is wrong. Crysis multiplayer is absurd due to cloak, and not fun at all. I really hope Dust don't get ruined by it.

You do not stay permanently cloaked in crysis multiplayer. the more you move, the faster your energy goes down, which means the more your cloak becomes visible. even if you are a wall camper, your energy still goes down and your cloak eventually becomes visible. there are also perks such as footsteps that allow you to see folks footprints in water or hear them. it actually works better than you might think. the question will be whether or not ccp puts balance to these cloaks so that they are not a permanent or overpowered issue.

Was there since Crysis 2 onwards to Crysis 3, posted on the forums regularly, Got picked to play the closed Alpha For C3 & got some DLC codes from Crytek to give out to other people.Had the largest and most succesful clan (LynX) & Also Made various Crysis Videos and gameplays on myYoutube channel

The main reason for the game dieing so quickly would be the lack of Dev support, with the already extremely small player base (If you think Dust is small, See Crysis) Although I still love Crysis and always will, still play it regularly

Also if anyone Did play C3 on PS3, you might know me from either the game or forums (PDA_Metroid_)

crysis 3 is a difficult game to master with knowing to use the cloak. the cloaking probably did turn off a lot of folks. i know i avoided crysis 2 because of the cloak and my fears of cloaked corner campers, however, 3 did a real good job of balancing it out. lots of gamers do not like gimmicks like cloaks, i admit, i am one of them, as most of the time gimmicks like cloaks, etc. will not be balanced.

Lets get ONE thing straight about "Cloaks" though it's primarily used as a Scout's tool. It is by no definition what makes a Scout a Scout, remember that.

Johnny Guilt wrote:Calling it now I have yet to see the ability to grab ledges, jump on top of buildings, go prone, use cloak dynamically, cancel sniper rifle sway and recoil in general, throw items as well as amplify their throw range (which includes grenades), mark targets, temporarily increase armor values and juggle energy management, sprint infinitely, ground stomp and kill people by ripping iron bars out of the ground and using them as melee weapons.
There's also a severe lack in bullet physics, hardware-crushing graphics, extremely fast-paced and fluid movement, customizable weapons, hit detection and loadout changes that are more than just "15% melee damage" or "you can survive one bullet more".
Also, you can't rip tankers out of their tanks even if you manage to jump on top of their vehicles and there is no sign of the fun as **** "hunter mode", which could easily be replicated by having a mode based on proto stomping against large squads of militia/std users.

Man, Crysis 3 was the most fun I had in an FPS in ages. It was basically an old-school Arena shooter with team-based gameplay and modern features, as well as a slightly slower pace.

The cloak is more comparable to units in Command and Conquer games.

 Edit:
You think Jihad jeeps are bad?
Wait until someone plants an RE on a box of explosives and throws it with strength mode against your tank. Or dropship, for that matter.
You can thank the Youtube user "Nanosuitninja" for that tactic. He's the guy who makes Crysis 1 fun for the whole family.
