Right about now most everyone would agree there's very little reason to get in to PC. To much time and effort spent for so little reward. Which is why I think the whole system needs to be reworked. So let's talk about some of the things that might make this "chore" called PC can become more fun.
1. Being able to explore your own district.
2. Being able to build structures on your districts SimCity style. I want to be able to build and work Mines. I want to be able to build factories. I want to be able to build forts and walls. And for obvious reasons, all these structures can be destroyed in battle.
3. Instead of skirmish, a defenders vs. attackers gamemode is needed. Yes, I know I just described Skirmish 1.0. It's just whenever I get into a skirmish match I always imagine this. "The enemies coming to attack us! Quick! Abandon all our Null Cannons and pile into are MCC! Don't worry we'll get back out when they get here to take our Null Cannons!"
4. Being able to manufacture our own goods. When I first heard that all the manufacturing of our gear was going to be done in Eve, I said "We don't need no stinking Eve!". Especially when it makes far more sense that manufacturing would be done on a planet. Plus I'm a Mercenary! I don't want to be at the mercy of anyone. Especially those dirty "Capsuleers". 
These are just a few of the things I think would make PC awesome. But please don't turn this into a naysayer thread where everyone says the idea is dumb. Come up with ways these ideas could be made better, improve upon it.
And please, come up with your own ideas. CCP needs to hear us. |

I would like a PC where you choose what gamemode (out of more than just Skirmish or Domination) you want if you are the defender of the planet. Right now it's basically a Skirmish with all Protos. Somewhat like Star Wars Battlefront 2, where you could pick the map, and then what to play on the map, there would be set regulations of what you most overcome should you wish to engage. I like the idea of defenders placing stuff down, it would be awesome if the battle maps came online so we could see actual defenses and plot an actual, better strategy like in Rainbow Six. Then we could say, they have 12 installations blocking the front, which means they'll guard the back. Tankers blow a whole for us, then we storm. Alpha Squad, (SL highlights on map with a trail) will go left. Other storm A.
And so on. This would make PC FAR BETTER THAN IT IS.
