This seems to be part of a general mushiness in the whole game. Like waiting for the team list to load. Spawning (why am I waiting to spawn when the timer has been at 0 for several seconds).

Yeah it's beyond lame how long a database lookup for 16 names can take in DUST.
I think this is the same thing our tacnet suffers from.

I was in a battle yesterday that ended up being a race to see who clones who, spent the batter part of the final minute of the match watching the spin.

Just backout after you placed an order and you'll have your stuff within a fraction of the time it's taking now, not ideal but it's the workaround I figure out until the issue resolves or CCP fixes it.

Main question: why do you even restock during a battle? Sure you can do that but you should allways have enough fittings to get into matches. Not like 1-2 dropsuits and then need to restock cause you died.

Some bug is in the system. Have they been notified?
For now, make sure you're fits are not sitting at 1 when you hit the battle. This is good habit to practice so that when you're in a heated battle, you're not wasting valuable time messing around with your fits.
Plus if run out, switch to MLT. It's isk management. These are good habits to get into. I say this for myself as well.

I'm ******* cheap people. I only restock 3-5 until it depletes, then repeat. I always make fitting changes so it works for me this way. But that restocking delay needs to be fixed anyways or else there wouldn't be a problem.

Dropsuit respec in just over a week, no player market .. most people are using up stock before skilling out and into new stuff |
