MCC camping? seriously? anyone else run across this or just me?
Really such sad sack players that you cant even bother to TRY and shoot people right now? I mean since everyone is trying to get killed.
I know it doesn't really make a difference but here's the two I've got the names of so far, I forgot a couple, feel free to add if you run across any.

I have been playing a ton of matches so far and I get on comms telling people on Team Chat about the event and telling them pesky Logis to stay away with their needles.

Yeah i've seen you in a couple games today
Mostly it was a rant due to hunger induced rage (lol my bad) there will always be **** players, coupled with the fact that matches today have been a combo of the best and worst matches I've seen to date.

I don't think 0 gain is the answer but greatly reduced i could maybe see, but that shouldn't implemented till matchmaking is fixed.

Most of the time when I see it its because the match has become a completely one sided affair, and the new players are waiting out the end of the game in the MCC.
Gotta love all the replies though. Instead of coming to terms with things and saying "Wow! We made the match so unfun and frustrating that people would rather do nothing in the MCC till the end of the game than play".... You guys come up with "Omg punish them". The irony. the guy who is 23-2 is not having fun cause all his 0-7 and 0-8 cannon fodder dont want to be farmed anymore.
Everything costs ISK. Once someone has lost 100,000ISK worth of stuff with nothing to show, what motivates them to continue? They are already in the red and already having a bad time.
People hiding is not a problem. Its a symptom of the problem. Instead of putting a bandaid over it, maybe fix the real problem, and the symptoms will disappear. |

with all the ridiculous tank spam theres no benefit of actually activley playing and this'll be even worse on 1.8 seeign as tanks will be even more invincible now DMs and Nades are getting nerfed and Swarms already do pitiful damage as it is they'll be next to useless 25th onwards and so we'll just see folk using SP from this event and spare dropsuit command refunds moving into tanks.
AV really needs its damage back now DMs have been changed, if a single logi with 3 x complex damage mods, laid dai packed AV nades and a prof 3 proto swarm only takes a militia tank down to half armor before it runs away then come the 25th if your on the ground there's gonna be no point

also what amuses me is when i have an alt AFK'in and you have someone dancing around you shooting at you. when you think about it thats actually worse than AFK'in. if i'm afk i have no intention of participating in the match whereas someone who is hittign you with an LAV, shooting you or hitting you with a tank ect are taking another person off the team instead of activley playing
i mean really. chances are i'll either be on another game, another account (i have 2 ps3's and 2 tvs in the living room) watchign netflix with the alt on mute so you're not going to force me to play because i have no intention of doign so so may as well save your time and effort and go make up for my afk'in a**
