Some of you know I'm going to boot camp and AIT and i'll be gone for 6-7 months, and for a few week I've been future gazing wondering what the game will be like 6 months from now, guessing CCP hasn't recently released a roadmap with all of their soon(tm)s huh?

Go back 6 months and you'll see what was released and promised from then to now.
Anyways, chances are if you're here for 1.8 you'll see every change there will be for 6 months. |

They'll be wrapping up the balancing pass for everything we're getting in 1.8 There will be 2 more maps loaded with glitches and they'll be talking about "strengthening the bond" between the 2 or 3 games. Closed beta players will still be asking about MTACs, paint buckets, and ******* capes. The server stability will still be an issue that contributes to the nerf/buff pattern. There may be a player market that only truly benefits those that've hoarded ISK for the last 6 months of district locking. PvE will still be on the roadmap, with no foreseeable release date. PS4 development will still be on the back burner as we play against third world players with DSL and no mics.

Hey dude. I'm pretty sure the roadmap is totally different from what we've heard in previous years and even at last year's FF. More recently CCP praetorian (aka creative director Atli Mar) gave a presentation at EVE Vegas last year where he said 2014 would be the year of "putting the MMO in DUST 514". He also said that PvE would be in the game sometime this year, showed off a revamped market board and there was also mention of PC 2.0 IIRC.
With the new EP on board, CCP Rouge, it seems (at least I hope) that he cracked the whip and said "get all the ******* racial variants of everything in the game already!" and so I dare say that 'parity' will be an ongoing phrase used for the next few updates. His innitial mission statement was to improve the minute-to-minute game play and the NPE for the first day, week, month etc. It's hard to say exactly what that entails but again I'd like to think that the new gamers come to a game that has everything that should be available there drosuit/weapon/vehicle wise.
At FF this year people will get the first look at "the next major evolution" of DUST 514. Again, hard to say what that entails but I'm personally banking on more 'parity', PvE, market/UI 2.0, quality of life stuff and graphical/performance updates. Orrrr maybe it's just a new map lol.
