Now they we are getting all the missing racial suits(excluding pilot and all the other ones I can't remember) it would be nice to play a full on race war(that doesn't sound right)

Just a mode or 2 where you can only use racial gear related to who your fighting for.
It can be ByoG(Bring your own Gear) which would be a no meta limit, if your skilled into, you can use it.
You could also have a sub category that limits the gear by meta level(3,5,9 or no limit)
Or another mode that provides your gear for you, that would work better for new players who wanna generate sp and general experience without losing isk.
That mode could be split up into 2 different versions. One where everyone can pick any class they want(Assault,Scout,Sentinel,Commando or Logi) or limit it to only have certain number of any class on the field at any time(as a example 6 Assaults, 4 Logis, 2 Sentinels, 2 Scouts, 2 Commandos)
I wanna put my Freedom up vs some State pride!
Though it would suck since Gallente and Amarr have no heavy weapons :/

That wouldn't really fit the lore. What you want is faction warfare. But we are mercs and use our own equipment.

The problem would be player numbers as well. Some FW wait times are long, and that's with people being able to use any gear they want. Imagine what it would be like if people were forced to choose based on what gear they were skilled into.
We just don't have the player base to support it without long wait times, I believe.

Of course, but I'd still like to see if there is even a plan to do something along the lines of a RaceVRace mode.
And yes, I agree that we should change the name.
@Aikuchi, yes, I meant to imply that when you fight for a faction, they could provide your basic gear.

We just don't have the player base to support it without long wait times, I believe.

I wish CCP would make special matches where the whole/most of the map was open... And we'd be able to drive around on souped-up LAVs. |
