So you mean, every major land holder out there? Even RND uses ringers, though not that many.
It's gotten to that point in the game where you are one of the largest talent pools out there and you still have 2-3 slots in your PC without an A team player to fill it and you end up turning to some mercenaries that are more than happy to get some play time. It's just how things are, no need to bring "respect" and "disrespect" into it.
