Sure we should have had the racial variants at the beginning of uprising... but at least theyre here. I know a lot of people say 1.8 is gonna suck, but for us vets playing completely for our faction is gonna be a privilege. IDK about you but i cant wait to be in my caldari scout with my caldari smg and caldari pistol! love it!!! what are you lookin forward too? MASTER OF THE FLAYLOCK

Not necessarily. Dust was supposed to be a multiplayer pvp game. All you need is all the suits to back up your lore and thats the foundation right there. Racial parity =/= MMO. You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

The kind of games you want are stuff like Call of Duty where you have to buy a new finished product every year. Dust is evolving and gets new content all the time. There won't be a Dust 514 2. Instead Dust will get upgraded. And due to this new weapons and stuff will always get added, meaning older stuff wil have to get balanced. Heck: Eve Online exists for 10 years and the devs recently announced a frigate patch which changes the balancing of all frigates. EVE literally changes with every patch so why would it be different here? It has taken them 10 years to get balance "good" and they still tweak the game regularly. Gamers are just used to games that are released and then not touched much after that or that are this years throw away FPS that is exactly like last years. Balance is much easier after you make the same game for eight straight years with little actual change in the way weapons work. "One of God's own prototypes.
