Only one reason... OCD


Everyone wants each SP perfectly placed to what they are doing... And everytime a mistake is made or things get tweaked or content additions.. Those few SP aren't perfectly placed anymore... ANd it drives the OCD nutts.

As far as logic with having other weapons trained and they are still useful? OCD trumps that.

Dude you're an ******* because you got half the respec and you're crying that you didn't get the other half.

First of all I personally think your racial weapon should be in the light slot, not sidarm. Just use a goddamn RR and get over it.

Edit: I ******* feel the pain like you do. I'm stuck with the Assault Rifle. But I'm so happy about the dropsuit respec because I hate being stuck with Min Logi even more. And at least I can use my blueprint Toxin AR and get passive bonuses on it.

No, they don't. For the last month or so there has been PLENTY of SP up for grabs, not to mention 2 more weeks until 1.8 and dropsuit respec. CCP have practically force fed us the SP in preparation. If you haven't got the self control to save for what you want, that's your problem.

^^ I completely agree with this--if you're pissing SP away already, a respec isn't going to help you. Also, weapons don't take nearly as long to improve as other skills.

Once we have full parity in weapons (Amarr and Gallente heavy, three more SRs, etc.), I bet we'll get a respec. Then, I can ditch those flippin damage mods...

However, I do think a refund to dropsuit upgrade--or at least the ones that give access/bonuses to equipment and modules--should have been refunded, since there are so many changes to dropsuit bonuses in 1.8.

Dropsuits weren't given a respec because of parity, they were given a respec because their stats changed.

And now, the skill bonuses dropsuits get changes the dynamic of the weapons you may choose to use. And the changes to the logistic skill bonuses changes the dynamic with equipment you might choose to use. So yeah, its not like they released many new weapons that we didnt have before, but the use of weapons with dropsuits is changing because of the change to the dropsuits.

with 1.8 people will change there play style and some people have proto damage mods that are worthless now so. So guns like swarm launcher i was 4 in and now they suck i would really appreciate it

I want to get out of Assault rifles. Ever since Rail Rifles came and now MagSec and Bolt Pistol, I want the skill points out of the AR and SMG skills. I can deal with not getting it, though, as I'm getting quite a few points back from Caldari Logistics, which I'm speccing out of, probably, till I get my Caldari Commando and Caldari Assault and Caldari Scout. One last thing, the Armor Plating that was once needed? No longer needed. But it's all good, I'll wait for the racial parity and full respec that will go with it (hopefully.)

Your reason sucks. Respecs aren't given because of "My weapon is nerfed! CRY CRY!". They are given ebcause CCP released content that was promised way earlier.

There better not be a refund when all the weapons come out either. In fact there shouldn't another ever because I can't think of reason why they would need to. Everyone who actually wanted a weapon refund and is upset they didn't get one they should be damn grateful they got a refund on medium frames. Because it should have been only for light and heavy frames. There was no reason for CCP to do it other than you all would have cried like a bunch of bitches and rage quit.
