So as long as we activate our active booster before the next down time we shall receive the bonus skill points, for example; I activate an omega active booster at any time before the next down time and say we destroy 500,000 clones over the course of the event I will receive 1,000,000 skill points?

From my understand it goes like this....
At the time of this post it is downtime for the servers. As long as you activate your booster of choice from now until the next downtime tomorrow, you will be eligible for the bonus SP for what ever community goal we reach.

No Dev has come on and said in exact words that whatever booster is active by downtime tomorrow will be the one that is counted towards boosting the event SP. CCP Cmdr Wang wrote "Yes, correct. If you have a booster that is active on your character during Friday you will get the bonus SP".
The above is a bit ambiguous considering the Dev responses that have been exact in the booster active time scale have said that they will be doing a check 6 hours after downtime today and whichever booster is active then will be the one that will be used to boost event SP. They did say that they might do a later check but haven't come back to say so, other than Wang's loose statement. Franky, considering how CCP can be slightly vague  with what we're suppose to do I'd just make sure to have the one you want active within the next 4hrs. I activated mine last night just in case. |

the event started this morning right. I have a booster active til about 3 hours after down time today (activated on Wednesday about at about 14:00 EVE time) the way i have been reading this event I should get the booster SP right? as I have had a booster on after down time just gone. |

So idiot, which part of the below post by Wang shows me as incorrect in stating it is the only post giving exact details on activation of boosters for the event

Thank you!!! Here is our plan to approach this issue:
- We will look at what kind of booster you have right after Friday's DT is over on the 14th and that is the booster bonus you will receive.
- There will be edge cases like the one you pointed out. To mitigate this, we will take another look at character boosters installed later in the day (currently, 6 hours after DT on Friday) to see if the booster has been changed.
- We will take the higher bonus from the boosters when calculating your SP bonus from this event, i.e. if you had an Omega booster and a regular booster installed on Friday, we will give you the bonus from the Omega booster.
We could do a third check at 11pm UTC on Friday to catch as many edge cases as possible as well. Let me know your thoughts. The best way to ensure that you will receive your bonus SP from this event is to make sure that your character(s) have a SP booster installed before DT (11:00 UTC) on Friday March 14th. |
