This topic is where you can complain everything about 1.8
For me it's the AR nerfs, ccp has constantly nerfed this gun, it now has a very low damage and the fact that it's range is outmatched by every other rifle AND now two sidearms, in every way this gun is outmatched by EVERYTHING, FRWAKEN LEAVE IT ALONE, get your balancing right ccp if you to freaken keep players. there are many wAys to nerf weapons, like, for example the rail rifle, you just take down its ROF so it's a pure long range weapon, the scrambler rifle, increase its heat up limit.

AR is fine, its a solid weapon with NO drawback
what really annoys me is that tanks arn't getting nerfed >:(

The AR has more than earned any and all nerfs. The gun at one point was the be all end all weapon for any range encounter. All I got to say about it is, "HAHAHAHAHAHA SUCKERS!!! NEENER NEENER NEENER!" |

To be fair, that was back when it was the only game in town for the notion of a rifle. It was likely nerfed because it was more useful than the Laser Rifle, Shotgun, or Mass Driver. Now that it can be compared to instead the rest of the rifles, I am not so certain if it compares super favorably to the Combat, Scrambler, or Rail.
Then again, it is Gallente tech. Can't trust those people to make anything worth a damn. |

Nearly everything's damage was decreased to increase the TTK.
Also, Rail Rifles have the largest damage decrease across the board. Choke on that.

This is true though I am talking about post beta where this gun has been very outmatched since last update and considering its future nerf it is going to become a completely crap weapon

and in nine months some intrepid dev will buff the hell out of it and we will say the same thing about combat rifles and rail rifles. Such is playing a ccp game. Hell a couple years ago I said **** it and just maxed out every weapon in eve so I could just ignore balance whine |
