Hey guys & gals,
how about a map where we see some snowing effects and the temperature is below normal survival limits? It's perfect for clones! This area would be a precious mining base that a corporation of some sort controlled (probably one of the Caldari's mega-corporations) back when it allowed people to survive on its surface. It used to be the perfect settlement to sustain life, but when the planet started moving away from its sun its seasons became longer and the solar power it receives diminished over time. What you have as a result is a dead planet where precious materials are stored under, materials that could prove a well investment for some corporations.
A little bit of Q/A:
1. Why would anyone want to go to a dead planet?
A. While the planet may be dead and covered with hard frozen soil the mining site is the only spot that has breached through that layer, allowing for mining of its more inner, easier-to-work-with layers that contain precious minerals and other materials. That could prove to be a very profitable investment for the corporation that gains it (until another corporation tries to attack it), which will be up to the players fighting on it.
2. What corporations?
A. You know... those NPC ones... that no real player ever joins out of their will.
3. Why pick a frozen place no one could survive in? Why not somewhere pretty... like a beach?
A. If I have read correctly clones will go to whatever place they can, regardless of being health-hazardous (after all they can just come back, unlike real humans). A frozen tundra would really show that nature in clones as they enter the area. Clones don't seem to mind the pain... just give them a gun and suit and they'll do their objective (as well as eliminating anyone who stands in their way of course).
The map could/would future the following:
-Snowing environment. -Snow layering the tundra ground, with areas around the objective covered in heavy 'glacier-type' ice layers. -An objective in the form of a barely-functional mining base who's former owners installed a Null cannon for protection of other corporations. -Mining vehicles around the installment, broken down and frozen. -Recently dropped defense installations (railgun blasters, etc.). -Small bunker houses around the mining base (back when the corporation tried to survive the weather).
What do you guys think?

-P.S. I got my inspiration off of one of Killzone's maps. (http://www.killzone.com/en_US/dms/blog/features/kz3_fe_2011-02-16_mp6-marksman_ms.jpg)
