Are there any plans to optimize this game?
The framerate is so abysmal in this game. It's very disheartening. The one thing this game has suffered from since Uprising hit.
Planetary Conquest is still horrible in terms of lag as well. Some people seem to be coping with it better, but I still suffer from atrocious framerates that seem to have no remedy.
What gives?

Rust's framerate is way more abysmal and will probably still be when the final version is released.
So, just stick around and enjoy the free jerky.

its only marginally improved, and you experienced it on the laggiest map.. the gallente research lab.
There has been no cure for this. granted, it has improved, BUT, well you experienced what we all get and that's running in place.
massive equipment spam still a major factor in this, as it causes a memory leak and we all know what happens at that point...
but yes this FINALLY getting fixed (or better yet.. remove the @$%@!% map that everyone says causes frame drops EVERY time...til u get it fixed) would be awesome

You know, I cant speak for PC because I said f**k that **** after having so many games that ran so **** poor I decided never again to go into PC.
However recently I have been running with voice comms turned off in the options and I have noticed the game does run smoother. Obviously I cant talk with my corp mates or squad mates but yes it has certainly helped.
Performance is a big issue in DUST. It has been since the day I started playing to be honest.
