It has come to my attention that people think we pilots have some form of enlarged ego. They seem to think we are arrogant and we believe ourselves better than everyone else.
I'm afraid that it just isn't true that we are arrogant people. I mean sure, we are better than you, but everyone sees that.
It isn't arrogance to know the truth that we are superior, you ground people should learn to accept that.

Since I just started skilling into tanks (Yay first Maddy!), I approve of this thread.
And before anyone says anything, I have 27mil SP invested into infantry, I think it's about time to move over to vehicles.
Shield regeneration bonus for Gallente Assault is about as useful as Sharpshooter for Nova Knives.

Tanks don't matter now except to have the sp for the sake of claiming the sp. A no sp mil tank works just fine.
A dropship pilot can brag though. Hopefully that won't change.

i like the course on line harvest where you have to fly under all the sets of pipes and the midle table in a figure 8

ADS pilots are the best.
That's not ego, it's a fact.
It takes special people to pilot the most expensive thing in Dust, the most difficult vehicle to master, with the most OP thing in this game as our top predator, and still manage to succeed and strike fear into our enemies.

I kind of do have a large ego when it comes to dropships, especially when people say that they can be "spammed" if they were buffed or reduced in price. 1) how many people can fly decently? 2) how many people can handle the speed and sensitivity of an Assault Dropship? 3) How many people could actually use the front turret competently? The above three reasons are why dropships couldn't be "spammed", as the number of ADS pilots are fewer than those of other pilots, tanks, and etc. Tanks are easy comparatively, dropships require considerably more skill and awareness than a tank, which can be easily spammed, as it's cheap, and virtually anyone can use it. Which is why i despise railguns, but to be fair, I'll allow them to exist if they receive a proper form of balance that requires skill, unlike the way it is now. |
