Spend it on something totally useless NOW and have fun with it
Like PLCs, or Commandos, or heck, scouts (be careful with the last one, it's easy to get hooked)
Best of my suggestions.
The biggest threat to my scout is everything.

Already did two of those when I got home.
PLCs, ha, have had them for awhile (never use 'em).
So I have all three.
Also PLCs won't get people their points back, so, no.
xSivartx is my Heavy. There are many like him, but he is my own...
So, other Logi's back off, those are my Warpoints!

I am so happy I saved up SP, even though the respec sucks I can get a half decent weapon. I feel sorry for newbs and whoever didn't save SP.

Thanks for the sympathy but I don't regret saving Skill Points. I knew the game was going to change in significant ways, what I wanted wasn't out yet, and that in some way CCP was going to screw things up.
Batting a 1000 in 2014.

who needs to save up SP when you already have 4 proto sidearms (that's all of them, btw) and ADV HMG (for the event), 3 adv light weapons, and 6 proto light weapons? and don't forget everything maxed out in dropsuit command + my 4 proto suits. and my 3 advanced dropsuits. If the million clone challenge succeeds, that 2.38/2.8 million SP for another proto suit. plus the 190400SP cap from next week. plus the 6k made daily for the next 13 days. plus the 24k daily SP for 13 days.
Anyone that buys an omega booster for the event and doesn't spend SP from Today till the 25th, logs in daily, and caps out this week and next will have SP for a brand new proto suits.
I congratulate CCP on making that SP total gained from that exactly the SP cost of a proto suit

or, if you are already skilled into scouts, do what i did and go proto into a gun or two. i finally went proto into the shotgun for my federation scout Gk.0. needless to say, its awesome.

I have around 500k, I am not 1337 so I use my SP on what I like not what is going to do the best and get nerfed.

me too for the most part. even though when something is OP, i skill into it just so i have something to fight back with. noting is more annoying than getting pwned by RR's and knowing you can do nothing to be evenly matched against them.
i dont do it to be OP though. i do it to fight fire with fire.

im probably going to upgrade my dropsuit electronics and engineering to level 5. (currently level 3 on both).
its expensive though, so i'll do it once i have skilled into all the dropsuits and guns i want (mostly want the gallente sentinel, commando, cloaking device, and ion pistol. will probably skill into the magsec smg and bolt pistol too though).
this is my all around charcter who is at least standard in every suit and gun in the game.

You only get your SP from dropsuits back. Not weapons, upgrades or other stuff. Just dropsuits so be carefull what you spend the SP on.

I've saved up enough to take a suit or two to advanced on each of my characters. The real dilemma is what to do with my main. I guess I'll skill back into AA V since I have proto ScR, but maybe I'll go into a scout since I also have Shotgun V. Which one, though? |

My 'facepalm' was just me giving myself a manly one-man hi5 because it felt good as ***** having 10 million SP saved for the event of no respec. I went ahead and spent a few million of it last night for some release.

I just dumped enough SP to get Amarr Assault level V to whip around with my Templar Scrambler Rifle for shipped n' giggles. (Holy crap it's a stupid strong combo.)
By my math, I'll have just shy of 9 mil SP to spend with the Dropsuit Command respec once 1.8 drops.

I am in the same boat, though I have ~2m unallocated currently. If all goes as planned, I will be sitting on all Proto Minmatar suits (at least from an SP POV).
Kill PC and reclaim all wealth it has generated before it damages the game even further
