57 pages, over 1000 posts over 20k views all looking for a full infantry sp refund and you only give a dropsuit command refund despite being told that dropsuits directly affect the weapons/equipment, upgrades that you use
If you create a thread for a specific topic and then proceed to ignore the vast majority of the community then what's the point in having the thread in the 1st place ?
Justify why its a dropsuit command sp refund only ... I want to know how you came to that decision

I just want them to justify their decision thats all, its pretty reasonable to ask why it took so long for them to make this decision and if this is all they came up with then .. why the 4 month wait ? Why ask for community feedback ?

I'm not looking for a full respec. How about since you have posted in another thread that you're leaving and going to PS4 land, that you actually follow through and leave, both the game and here. Or shut up and put up. |

No we wouldn't but this Respec is STUPID.
Upgrades tree and weaponery tree is directly used from the suits you were using, not respecting them means makes us stuck with our old role.
Exemple : I'm an Old Logi.
=> I want to go commando.
It means :
-Lose all My Secondary weapon skill (more than 2 million SP.)
-Lose my lights primary which is not my race. (3 million/4)
-Lose 6 million SP i spent into equipeents to fulfill my job.
-Lose profile modules i'm not going to use anymore.
-Lose ******* 6 MONTHS FOR NOTHING.
Sorry but it's logic , we used our SP into things useful for our Suit, now that we change suit, half of our upgrade are USELESS.
Only Core Skills are still useful. |

Better than nothing. Community (including me) wanted a full infantry respec, CCP wanted to avoid a respec, and the result is a compromise. The SP from the Mauler event and Million Clone Challenge should definitely make it easier to get the necessary skills for weapons and dropsuit upgrades.
There is a difference between ignoring the community, and just not doing what the community wants. If they really ignored us, there would be no respec at all.

No no! You got it wrong! It's OPs opinion and everybody shares OPs opinion! And if OP doesn't get what he wants it's CCPs fault for not listening to the community. Now he would look pretty stupid if it was just his subjective opinion and not everybody shared it, wouldn't he?

Okay lets say right now i am logi but want to go heavy i will still have the logi skills.
After respec, why not keep logi if you are spec'd into and use your 1Mil SP from this event to go commando?

Exactly, keep the logi, and if you want to go from no heavy skills to proto commando, you'll need about 2.8 mil SP, with the bonus that all your logi skills will be available for your commando. 2.8 mil SP can easily be gotten before 1.8 hits if you want it. |

I'm pretty sure they are not doing this dropsuit respec so you can go into a different role they are doing this for racial parity of all races so if you are a minni scout and now that amarr scouts are released you can put your skill points into a Amarr scout so all your biotic core skill will still be useful. The respec is not meant for your to switch from minni scout to minni heavy that is your choice to switch something you have no core skill in already.

And primary weapons ? And damager ? And modules specific for Commandos ? And these 500.000Sp i spend into grenades ? Which i don't have slots for ? These 5 equipeents ? |

Dropsuit Command respec means i'm stuck with Logi stuff, but they take out my Logi skills, all my logi suits are locked.
Guys, it's not even a real respec, we're NOT going to have ANY occasion to have a real respec, it's the DAMN FULL RACIAL LINE UP.
We CAN'T HAVE a better situation to have a full respec.
No full respec now means w're NEVER going to have a full respec....... |
