Not really.....Jove would never make infantry combat units.....their population is currently primarily in cryostasis and the ones that are awake are physically probably not able to engage in direct combat with other ground based units.....
Also given Jovian technological superiority they would never need to take the surface of planets as they have their own space and probably no interest in controlling our own.
If they did make ground based equipment it would be suits make for 5 foot tall soldiers, unless they too use our immortal cloning tehniques and use nanite bodies....
Primarily use laser weapons, with shields and armour functioning far beyond any of the known races ability to replicate.

You take 200 Sub Capital Ships against a Titan and frigates with tech 10,000 years more advanced.....yeah you'd probably lose too...and at the time we were the most power military force in the cluster of the four empires.

Actually...
GÇ£ThereGÇÖs something coming right towards me!GÇ¥ Thumgar screamed, putting the CLAW into full automatic and spraying rounds wildly in front of him. Vlad spanned his rifle left and right, desperately seeking a target but finding none. More machine gun bursts illuminated the cavern wall as the other soldiers shouted and fired their silenced weapons into the shadows. Just as Vlad took a breath to speak, he saw ThumgarGÇÖs CLAW inexplicably throw itself from his hands. The giant man appeared to freeze for a moment, then dropGÇögently, as if hands were guiding himGÇöface down onto the ground.
Then Vlad felt itGÇöa draft of air on the back of his neck that shouldnGÇÖt have been thereGÇöand reacted solely on instinct. In one fluid motion, he thrust the rifle backwards as hard as he could, and felt the stock slam into a man. Ignoring the strange sounding grunt, Vlad whirled 180 degrees to his left, unsheathing the KriGÇÖTak in mid-spin with his right hand and exploding forward in a lunge. There was nothing in front of him that his eyes could see, but VladGÇÖs senses told him otherwise. His left forearm caught something heavy on its way up to block an invisible counterstrike, but his right handGÇöclenching the knife tightly and keeping the blade parallel to the groundGÇöcontinued unobstructed in a wide arc until it punctured something thick, right where a manGÇÖs rib cage would be.
An ear-piercing howl filled the cavern as a Jovian soldier materialized at the hilt of the knife. Just as Vlad commanded his wrist to twist the blade, he felt something strike his lower back, and then all of the muscles in his body went numb. Panic overwhelmed him as he fell backwards, completely paralyzed. He did not feel himself hit the ground, but saw the silhouette of a second Jovian standing over him a moment later.
Also
Viola took a few hesitant steps forward. The Jovian was slender, and stood less than 180 centimeters tall. His entire body, save for his head and hands, was covered in an armored suit. She began to feel uncomfortable at the sight of those bottomless orbs staring through her.
Granted, 5 ft is technically less than 180cm (it's actually 152cm), it seems to be odd wording if it was meant to portray the Jove as midgets.
Personally, I think CCP has redacted the original lore entry on the Jove over the years.

Rodger, that really odd... I wouldn't have though the Jove would have had the capacity to field soldier......and how the hell does a hyper advanced soldier die to a knife of some sort.

It makes sense that the Jove would not use infantry being at lower numbers. That being said if we are spying on people would it not make sense for us to use a consciousness transfer to animate technological drop suits that operate as jovian controlled drones masquerading as you normal clones in drop suits. The jovians would anihilate every 1 on the field with their god alike tech. AV pistols that 1 hit kill tanks and Rifles that vaporize infantry with a single hit. And to top that wormhole technology which allows them to move accross the battlefield in the blink of an eye. And to top this their suits have the HP like tanks have today. The only way to stop a single jovian would require 6 assault forgegunners to hit him at the same time.

Jove lost 1/3 of their fleet, according to internets.
So they're really not all that hot.
Pathetic result on the part of the Jove, considering that they had the battle plans, a fleet designed to combat the Amarr's, capsuleers vs. traditional navy. Oh and a Titan.

No, we are unfortunately not.
The most significant increase in ship capability in the past 200 years has been the introduction of the capsuleer, with the second most significant arguably being Fullere-based technology (Tech 3) adapted from the sleepers, and third the Morphite-based (Tech 2) enhancements that began just under a decade ago.
Even the now abundance of T2 vessels, and the increasing number of T3, the technology is still limited, and by all accounts STILL lacking in many ways compared to what the Jovians were capable of two centuries ago.

It's only been mentioned that it was smaller, but not by how much (no actual numbers given)
It seems like most of the losses on the Jove side were larger ships

I just said that.
They had every advantage aside from numerical superiority and still lost an enormous proportion of their fleet.

My point was that they lost 1/3 of a smaller fleet.
That's not bad at all.
We don't know the size of the Jovian force exactly, but we do know it was significantly smaller.
Lets say it was 120 ships, meaning they lost 40. That would mean they killed 5 Amarrian vessels for each of theirs.
at 100 ships that ratio goes to ~ 6:1
80 ships: over 7:1
60 ships: a massive 10:1
Again, we don't know numbers, but even if they had as many as 150 ships, it would still be an impressive victory.

Right ..... so the fleet could have had any number of vessels in it? That's interesting.....very interesting.
But we assume it is smaller no more than say 2 dozen ships because of insinuation that Jove Tech is so powerful

It also ironically features Jamyl Sarum as the primary character, for those of you who dont know, she is The Empress.
Its a fascinating look into what her life is like even if you cannot cite it IC, and proves in my eyes that the Empress despite the forces she battles every day is noble and always making the right decision to benefit her people.

One that's always stood out to me is Postnatal about a human-ish size rogue drone using people to uh... incubate inside of.
Another set I particularly enjoyed was the Methods of Torture series.
There's one I recall but can't remember where a group of Caldari commandos is trying to abduct a Gallente war criminal. I forget the name though. I'll probably read through all of these again soon, just to refreash.
I didn't link any of them so you can look through them and maybe read a few. ;)

And I shall hide is the best one relating to Cloned Mercenaries. I loved how it described her situation as the leader of the empire who released cloned mercenaries. It reminded me of Macbeth's wife before she went insane. I wonder how far ccp will take it. The Empress is by far the best, and most interesting NPC in New Eden. I certainly hope she reigns another decade!
I like when Heth is portrayed in the chronicle about the caldari prime event.
The empress seems interesting because she has a very serious side and then a side that shows she is a very young girl.
I like dust more then eve. Eve feels like work.

And the best bit is we dont really know which is he and which is not. Its very fuzzy as to which parts of her stem from her before becoming Empress, and which are products of becomming empress, and which are not even her at all.

/falls to knees Why must you remind me of the thing that the empress did in that book i didn't read?
The life of a merc is lonely enough. Why do you hang temptation over my head?
Oh, empress... I wish to love you!

Templar One is not really something I would take too seriously, although it is canon, since Mordu mentions the Amarr are perhaps the most powerful force in New Eden, not only able to fend off 3 foreign Navies, but also appear to be besting them.

Well the Jove (and really all of new eden) are remnants of the terrans.
The sleepers used to be a part of Jovian society, creating incredible scientific breakthroughs in their virual universe, but left the empire (and New Eden), thanks in no smll part to a third Jovian group, the Enheduanni.
Playing since 1st batch of closed beta keys.

Also Viola took a few hesitant steps forward.
That first excerpt makes them sound like the Predator and now I want to play a good Predator game, damn it
