I like my TV ALOT, but the small screen bothers my eyes unless I'm sitting on top of it and even then it still does. I wear semi-thick glasses and have sensitivities too to dark or too bright games. Dark as in Batman AA, too bright as in Mirrors Edge. What TV do you recommend? I have too take frequent breaks due too eye strain and sometimes getting mad at... stuff. So my living rom has a 32-inch TV that is much better for my eyes but I play games in my room so... I need that size TV. If you get near the 7+ people I'm repping I'll rip your face off.

GLOBAL RAGE Consolidated Dust 21	Posted - 2014.03.12 11:58:00 - [6] - Quote get a View Sonic computer monitor for $180.00 refresh is 2ms and has two hdmi ports with audio jacks as well. it has better quality vid, is cheaper, faster, uses less electricity, less thermal and if your mobile it is easily moved. my tv is a SONY Bravia, and we have a Samsung as well both are grea. keep the refresh rate of whatever you consider in mind.

SONY if you don't care about price because they are the best TVs. LEDLCD is going to give you good performance at a decent price, don't go plasma unless you need extra heat in your room. Regular LCDs TVs use florescent bulbs that can't be controlled as well as a LED LCD. If you want the best of the best then go OLED, you get the best picture, the best contrast ratio, vibrant colors, very thin TV and lower power and heat. I have a 40 something cheap-o that I got a good deal on but I used to repair TVs and seeing what you wrote I would suggest a high contrast ratio because of your sensitivity to light levels. The higher the contrast ratio the more difference between the blackest black and the whitest white, it will allow you to have a better average brightness. OLED would be my suggestion if you have the money or a plasma if you can stand the heat and price because they both have outstanding contrast ratios. Just telling you what my experience has been with them and they were expensive monitors. I have fixed 1000s of TVs and I have never met a LG that didn't work until my friend brought me one he found on the side of the road and I have seen SONY TVs work with a hole in the screen. I can't see a ******* thing. It's all fuzzy, the chevrons are way off, and numerous other little annoyances just make this game a pain in the ass. Optimally, a 32" 780i would be a suitable and cheap. Either way if you decide to pick an HDTV at least get one that has for minimum 720i or 720p, 46" & refresh rate of 120 Mghz (or is it MHz?) anything lower than 120 and you run the risk of burning an after image on the screen especially if you use that TV for a lot of video games. Check out stores like Costco, also some stores that accept Discover Credit cards will include an extra 1 year warranty coverage again ask the store. It's your money, so make it worth it.
