Looking forward to 1.8, will any of the low slot modules be reallocated to the high slot or vice versa? For instance, I'm interested in the Code Breaker/Range Amplifiers being high slots. I won't lie. This is purely for my own benefit - but these are sparsely used modules and if they were high slots, it would be a welccome twist |

It would make sense for Codebreakers to be in high slots IMO. The only problem I could see with that is people stacking a **** ton of Armor and speed hacking an objective. :(

why bother? the only thing CCP wants in the high slot is shield extenders...

I mean, that's the point! XD There aren't any good options, especially now with the nerf to damage mods (which nobody will use now....too fitting intensive for such little benefit). As a Gal. Scout purist, I'd love to avoid using the high slot mods for shield tanking. The problem is having to give up speed, endurance etc... in order to get faster hacking speed? Can't be done. Give us high slot options please!

They might be useless but Shield Regulators should be in the High Slot - I mean, them being in the low-slots is like Armor Repairers being in the High Slots.
That being said it could be just to avoid stacking shield modules but meh CCP logic.

I think a lot of the balance issues in this game has come forth from at least Dropsuit Damage Mods being High Slots. If they were low slots, Shields would have the advantage of being capable of doing more damage despite having less HP. Of course, now it is "Shields can easily put on Biotics and Electronics without hurting their defenses."

It is weird but EVE has Shield Power Relay which are very similar to what they do in DUST, boost Recharge Rate, and they are low slots. Like DUST, EVE's Shield Rechargers are in the same slot (DUST calls EVE's Mid Slots High Slots. In EVE, High Slots are weapons.) |

I would want some kind of penalty to partially offset those kinds of modules. A straight increase to ROF or strafe speed could easily break some things, they would need some kind of weakness to exploit so they aren't too powerful. Or CCP would introduce them with such pitiful bonuses they wouldn't be worth equipping.
Other than that those are all great ideas. Think any of those would fall under engineering or would they be biotics/weapon upgrades? Currently Engineering is a very empty branch other than PG upgrades and I would love to see ideas to fill it out. |

The (+Weapon RoF) could increase Hipfire Dispersion. Speaking of Hipfire Dispersion...
Targeting Computer (-Hipfire Dispersion)
The movement based ones could have inverse effects. So the (+Jump Height) would make you strafe slower, and the (+Strafe Speed) would make you jump less high.

Range Amps in high slots wouldn't work in my books because then you have to choose range or precision when without the two of them together they become worthless.
What good is range when you aren't precise enough and what good is precision when you can't scan far enough?

What good is range when you aren't precise enough and what good is precision when you can't scan far enough? id prefer the amplifiers high and the precision low mainly because new cal and gal scout bonus
