So during the weekend we peak at 4,300 players would say an average of 3,000 players online at all times. let say your average session is 4 hours before you get off, so if we cycle 4 hours for 3,000 players for one day day that would be 18,000 players a day. So 333,333 kills a day by 18,000 players is 18 kills per player per day.
This is all low balling it to.

4 hours seems long for the "average" session. I'm not your typical "my real job is taking bong hits and playing video games" college student anymore (*looks off into distance wistfully*) but I know I don't have a 4 hour block every day for Dust.

This event will most likely be cake. It's a cleverly hidden method of getting people to buy some boosters. I'm willing to bet CCP has noticed player logins dropping off and they are wanting to get players back in the game and spending money.

CCP wants us to reach 1 million. that's why they didn't make the max reward for this event too hard to reach.
PS: you get 1.5mill with a booster(not sure about omega's, there is a 3 day omega featured sale so that makes me think omega's work)

Something else...
Since it is the end of the week i went to look at the weekly leaderboards and added up the kills of the top 25 corps for the week it came out to 943k split that in half and lets say 472k kills in 3days by just the top 25 corps by themselves complete almost 50% of the event.
It will be a bigger challenge to not hit 1 Million clones destroyed. I assume CCP did not think this through or they rigged it and purposeful set the bar so low so they will not have to hear the crying of the community any time CCP tries an event where you actually have to do something.
The event should have gone.
For 1,000,000 clones destroyed, all active players will receive 250,000 skill points For 2,000,000 clones destroyed, all active players will receive 500,000 skill points For 3,000,000 clones destroyed, all active players will receive 750,000 skill points For 4,000,000 clones destroyed, all active players will receive 1,000,000 skill points
Why is there always someone trying to sh-t on everyone elses good time?
#1 you have no clue how many clones dies on a normal weekend. No you don't. No you realy don't.

No, im not to happy they are passing this off as an event when every weekend over 1 million clones are destroyed. It is literally just free SP for not doing anything. I would like an event like black eagle scout again or any type of event where you actually have to do something. It's not really about the SP it's about actually having a challenge in these events.

My guess is we don't actually kill 1 mil clones every weekend. They probably looked at the actual average kill count, saw it was in the ballpark and decided to make an event out of it.
For me even if it's not that challenging it should be amusing to see people going away from the usual and just flying around in starter fits doing stupid things for a few days.

Idiot.
Did you even read the post?
He just said CCP is feeding us SP. He suggested that for it to actually be something we need to work for, CCP ought to have increased the required kills.
