Went in today, and was shooting - using 2 complex damage mods on an ishukone. Shooting took too many hits to bring them down. Reloaded and added a third damage mod, it started to take them down quicker. This is ridiculous that a sniper rifle needs so many hits to take most of the heavy's down. even with 3 damage modifiers it took 2 head shots to bring down a heavy that wasn't even the most armor and shielded heavy that i have come across.
Come on ccp, you have buffed so many other things (vehicles, and other weapons) can't you give those of us that like sniping only, some love?
I know that many will want to post "hate" towards this, but so what! I do what I like in the game, and you do what you like, period. If you don't like snipers, tough - its a fact of life in all battles. Live with it.

Snipers and AV both got boned b 1.8, but maybe there's a hidden buff coming.

IMO I think snipers that hide behind the red line and only fight that way, are scared to come face to face with a heavy or any other person for that mater. IMO players who deploy in blaster tanks and kill infantry are even worse than snipers, at least you can snipe another sniper. 1 person can't do to much to a proto tank with proto weapon. I think people that do that are trying to make up for lack of skill on foot, and are ruining the game for the people who don't. I think CCP should do away with the blaster for tanks all together, I could deal with a Rail and other weapons on the tank but a proto blaster on a tank is a nightmare for infantry and other tanks. And thats how I feel about it. Good Topic |

I am just glad this game doesn't have some of the MGO options, lol you could rarely find a game where all weapons were allowed. Cant use shotgun, snipers, pistols, or some other weapon because the person hosting simply didn't like them. Some would even give you grief if you punched them to death lol....long story short I just ignore hate towards whatever weapon I use, even the weapons that are close range get hate if you kill enough people with it.
I don't always win 1v1 but... when I don't, I cry for nerfs. Stay nerfing my friends.
