How do you handle the multitasking? Repping people, revives, enemies that get too close, how you handle it? Its a lot, which is way I like the role. I have basic cal logi, with rep and needle and RR i'm not afraid to use. As a logi you get targeted more and ambushed if your not careful.
If you get near the 7+ people I'm repping I'll rip your face off.

Easy find choke point where all the action takes place. Drop an uplink nearby in a secure area, drop Hives in the hot zone so your comrades get resupplies and healing. Now depending on your fit either scan for your squad or grab an repair tool and stay behind a heavy or assault let those two eat all the bullets while you keep them alive... |

What to expect: -Tons of grenades hurled past your allies straight at you. -Kamikaze charges just to kill you exclusively. -OBs dropped on you exclusively. -Enemies shooting past your allies to kill you. -Snipers single out rep tool users. -Being the only target when repping.

Don't forget! Never having anyone have a rep tool or hive or anything useful for you in your time of need, or just plain not giving your position any thought in the midst of the bum rush tactics.... |

Thats an honor only the most useful Logis recieve. And an indicator that you've done something very right for your team :)
My approach is: 1. Get to elevated places near the objective (with throwaway DS) 2. Place Uplinks at the most opposite parts of the elevated area 3. Place some Nano Hives 4. Scan your surroundings 5. Give fire support to everyone that spawns 6. Rez n Rep if needed
So its more about establishing a good foothold on the battlefield for me. Let the scouts handle enemy Uplinks etc, let the assauls attack and hack, let the heavys rain down fire. The nice thing is: If really needed, you can do all of the above yourself too, but most of the time you depend on the others to win. And you serve your team more if you are the only one thats not suicidal. |

It certainly doesn't feel like an honor. Especially since it happens to me on average every 1 out of 3 matches i play.

Once you figure out a setup (i.e. which equipment to use and which slots you have them in) switching back and forth between equipment is really simple.
I usually just drop nanohives when people need them or when I need them, then use reps when I see damaged players, the injector for a revive (followed by a rep combo), and for my proto suit I have a scanner or uplinks.
I use my scanner the most, followed by my rep tool (which I have out sometimes as much as my weapon...you do get guardian points if you are repping someone while they kill someone, triage as they are taking damage). Dropping hives and uplinks is all about placement and communication, that just comes with experience.
Basically stick with a team. Here's a great video of the way I logi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9OUEQFfao0&feature=youtube_gdata_player

If you are repping keep rep, if your target draws back it's better if you start to shoot, it's even more difficult now because there is no glowing effect on the target, so he is not aware. Before rez someone throw a nade or two, even an AV nade is good if the enemy see you throwing it, it will give you the time to rez the target and heal him.
1.8 it's so secret that nobody know what will be in it, even after patch notes...

This is true. I cant count how often red dots have ignored my presence just because I didn't showed up on their Tac Net.
The most hilarious situation I have run into was during a hack on en enemy CRU. I had just hacked the CRU as two red dots started hacking the CRU one directly left of one directly right of me both ignored...me two easy kills for me... |

On your logi fits, put the gear in the same place on each so you can snap out your tools quick. Needle, rep, hive is the left to right order I use on my standard logibro fits.
Sort them however you want, but try to be consistent and with practice the tool you need will be in your hands when you need it.

Solid advice.
The mutlitasking is what keeps the game from getting boring and routine for me. It also gets you killed, but who cares about KDR.
What you need is a system, both in the suits you rotate through, and a general approach to each map. Experience makes it all easier, too. We all run around like headless chickens for the first couple months of playing this game as a logi.
Example: I play "tactical" logi (shameless plug for my guide to uplink tactics). So I start every match with a speedy uplink suit. It's squishy, so I usually die fairly quickly, but if I survive long enough to get all the uplinks where they are needed and make it to a secure supply depot, I switch out to another suit.
That's usually a multipurpose link/hive/repper suit until I can tell whats going on with the battle. Then I have 2 other suits for the next time I spawn depending on how things are going (medic or scan/hive).
RInse, repeat. If you have standard loadouts for each typical situation that's one less thing to worry about. I also have a system of placing my uplinks so I can remember which ones are mine and when they need to be replaced.

This right here. This will win matches. Don't try to kill everything ever. I use a mass driver to scatter enemies, so my heavies can get in position. Then I drop the healing hives and bust out the rep tool. Wp out the butt. |

This as well. I try to keep equipment in the same slots so I can just snap to them without looking. Shaving a second off your time is crucial. |
