This isn't one of 1000's stupid posts, either they will or they won't. But I would like to see if its possible for the community to in fact influence CCP. We have forum moderators or CM who at as a link, but frankly they seem useless.
My question is simple, if a re-spec isn't given could the community (I know many don't want a re-spec, but you're just elite idiots who want to maintain an advantage) hold some sort of show of disappointment. Maybe a black Monday sort of deal where as a community we decide not to play for a day. Maybe even worst, could we agree not to buy AUR for that month.
Apart from quitting there is very little to be done to show disappointment or just the complete disregard to keep promises... Would it be possible to organize some sort of Login to collect a daily then don't play a match protest.
I don't know, but it was question a had because I've done it in other games. You don't like something complaining isn't going to get you noticed, a customer service rep is just gonna ignore the same BS. But if you could affect a day or two of no one playing, this could be a good step in getting our voices heard. If that doesn't work, hitting them in their wallet seems to be the only other option.
And who knows, maybe the day or two break to show disappointment will just result in more Dark Souls 2 anyways.
Could it work? could someone pull this off? Would it result in something positive? |

Hmmm I think they answered it here
Noob isn't really a status, it's the online equivalent of a 5-year old calling you a poopy fart head.

Yes, I have read it.
I have read everything I could about it.
I'm saying as a community could we do anything to protest any change we as a high% don't want?
Re-spec, would only be an example, granted a big and recent example.
Would a protest be possible, I can't see how anyone could affect change because CCP like most companies will do what they feel is best and that doesn't mean what their players want.

Im against respecs, I also have waisted millions of SP on moduals and weapons I havent used in ages, I hardly see how im an elitest who wants to cling to my none existant advantage.
But I can only dream that all the respec whiners don't log in for a few days.... or hay maybe never again
These forums must be located in the Californin country side, there is whine as far as the eye can see.

Basicaly myslef i propably leave, because i dont want that grind for SP once more (already started five times in row for perection and due CCPs stupid tryout for "balancing" i just stuck with less f.c.u.k.ed, and again by CCP, persona what i made). There is basicaly no chance to make their implements withou respec, but whatever they talks reminds me one person what pi.s.s.e.d me off long time ago. That person was Randy Pitchford and that problem were Alines: Colonial Marines. I basicaly feel same way everytime, when CCP make something "great".

Ok fair if you are with or against a re-spec... The point if you were against something, say tanks get a huge boost in TTK in 1.8 or all shotgun become 1 shot kill... Anything you would feel strongly against, beyond leaving the game how would the community resolve their disappointment.
Would a no login weekend be an example? I don't see how spamming forums does anything to any cause.
Could the community come together to make a stand against something wrong? I haven't seen anyone protest the major flaws in the game outside of quitting. It seems everyone bitches about things or takes it up, no one really takes a strong stand of protest, like a no play weekend, outside of a few forums posts. |
