I believe patch notes will be released possibly tomorrow, with 1.8 hitting next week Tuesday. It could also quite possibly be that the patch notes will be released next week, with 1.8 hitting the Tuesday after.
Some popular superstitions supporting a next week release are:
1. A Dev blog has been released
2. We have much of the information on dropsuits, weapons, etc
3. The date is 3- 1.8- 14, and we all know that CCP likes these kinds of release dates
4. The upcoming release of Rubicon 1.3 in EvE online
Some support for a later release:
1. Possible Dev blogs on cloaking and dropsuit changes missing
2. Patch notes are obviously not out, leaving just a few days to confirm an earlier date
I am probably missing some, but these are the ones that I could think of just now.

I almost wish it was dropping tomorrow on ninja status to correlate with the 1 million clone kill event. But my spidey senses are telling me next week is when its going to happen.
I'm ready for these new dropsuits and changed TTK already!

Simple math people!!
The name of the patch is 1.8. Since the name of the game is dust 514, we have to do 1.8 x 514. That gives us 925.2. Since there are 3 sidearms coming into the game, we divide that by 3. That gives us 308.4. Becuase there are 5 new suits coming in 1.8, we have to do 308.4 divided by 5. That gets us 61.68. Now we are getting somewhere! Since ther is cloaking coming Into the game, we divide 61.68 by 3, (standard, adv, proto) which equals 20.56. We know that patch notes will come out a week before the patch, we add 7 to this number. =27.56.then We subtract 2 because we are not getting dev blog on vehciles buffs or new vehicles.
The final answer is 25.56. We are getting 1.8 on the 25th, in the middle of the day.
This game need more vehicles!
