IGÇÖve been reading a thread about EVE/DUST interactions, and one person in the thread brought a valid point that both EVE/Dust markets will need to be integrated. So far all we have a NPC market that fives us dropsuits spontaneously created from thin air. In EVEGÇÖs market, as far as I understand, every item for sail was made by someone at some point. The main idea of this thread is that in order to integrate EVEGÇÖs player to player market, and our future player to player market, will have to create out dropsuits, weapons, and gear. I think will still have the NPC market we have now, itGÇÖs just that everything on the player to player market will be much cheaper on the NPC market, plus saving ISK by making your own gear and/or making a profit by selling the gear you made. First, letGÇÖs talk about the mining part. In EVE, pilots mine asteroids all across the universe; we on the ground will probably be mining in caves on and in a planetGÇÖs surface. For mining, will need a special dropsuit with a mining equipment slot. The mining equipment slot will take the place of either the light weapon slot, or the sidearm slot on a conventional drop suit (cant decide witch slot it will replace). Only mining equipment can be equipped to the slot like for instance; mythical examples like the mining forge gun that was adapted into our war made forge guns, or maybe an Amarr mining laser, or even a Minmatar jack hammer. Will need a weapon slot on the mining dropsuits to defend ourselves from cave dwelling wildlife, drones who may be strip mining, and most importantly; other mercenaries who have come to mine and/or kill other mercenaries and steal the ore they dug up. Another mechanic to think about is where to put the ore. I imagine the mining dropsuit will have an inventory for storing ore, like I big cylinder on your back or something, if you find there isnGÇÖt enough space in your dropsuit inventory, then you can also use a special container. This container will probably hover and follow you around the caves as you spelunk and strip veldspar ore from the walls. We could also acquire inventory expander modules to extend the dropsuit inventory and hold more ore. To explain how we got on the planet, and how will get off the planet I say we should have a special dropship with a large inventory, only one seat for the mercenary it belongs to, and the ability to make short treks through space. Do to soft ware limitations; I donGÇÖt think we can fly said dropships through space. I think of the mining dropship as more of like you select the planet a planet you want to go to from your quarters, then you load into the district you want to mine in. when you want to leave you just climb into your mining dropship, exchange ore between your inventory and its inventory, then manually select to leave the planet. Once we have returned with our hard earned ore, were goanna want to possess it into useful gear and vehicles. Our merc quarters are located on stations, the same stations eve pilots play to and from on a regular basis. Eve pilots have access to station services; while in the station they can pay a corporation tax fee to use the stationGÇÖs services and q there ore to be processed. They, and maybe we one day, will then use the production services to assemble various things with our processed materials. For us, will find the a convenient Station Services option in the neocome. In EVE, blueprints are literally blueprints; there used to determine what item will be made. Before you say; GÇ£Wow. That sounds like a lot of work for just one rail rifle.GÇ¥ I thought about how much we lose in battles on a regular basis, so I think that each infantry blueprint can make a maximum total of 100 or 200 of the desired item in one go. The level of the item you want to make I feel should effect some things in the process of making gear at cheaper prices. Making a prototype item will cost more materials to make then an advanced item. There are some of my suggestions for what mining could be like. What say you forums? Id like to hear what you guys think about the idea of mining in dust.
I'd say walk in my shoes for a day, but you probably still won't understand.

First off, paragraphs are your friends.
Second, industry is a lot of work but it is very much needed as it not only reinforces the need to invest effort into the game on a much deeper level, but it also further expands the meta and encourages negotiations between Eve and DUST corps. If there is anything I can be 100% confident about is CCP's ability to get the economy right once the merger begins. What you see now is just a series of place holder mechanics.
