As clones, and it currently has no default boosts, can we change race? Just make it a single use thing. I've been around for 12 months now and Amarr is awesome but Gallante or Caldari would appeal more to me. Simple fix with no repercussions |

That would require moving your station and altering a significant amount of recorded data about your toon.....you wont get a race change ever I would think.....also all your race means is your genealogy it has no bearing on who your character is.

They were the inverse of us...... inverting one of our holy icon and professing the dominance of Mans Law over God.
Since I suppose we are the light in the galaxy, and their King was inverting our most holy symbol....... I suppose it is apt.

Yeaaa thats right, man before god for without man there is no god and all those what nots. But then that totally just disproves the True Amarrs creation theory that god created man in his/her image

I think you have to re-read that chronicle, the Khanid symbol of the upside-down Amarr seal is actually supposed to represent God's law over Man's law, this coming when the Theology Council was very upset with the Khanid for not abiding the traditional sacrificing of the heirs when a new Emperor is empowered, but the Khanid saying that this was a tradition man had created and even though they were breaking this law they were not breaking God's law, hence the symbol of God's law being more powerful than Man's law.

I've brought this up a few times. I think with all the suits coming in 1.8, CCP should allow those interested to send a ticket to have a race change. I know all it affects is your forum avatar, your merc select screen avatar and your merc quarters in game...however there are many (myself included) who have really come to love the lore and have found their true racial affinity and would love to have that officially as their race. I mean really, those who love this game will have this one avatar for years and years (if they don't run off in QQdom) and it's unfortunate that they can't have that full satisfaction of officially belonging to their preferred race due to ignorance of the lore when they signed up.
I love the Matari so much that I made COVERT. My main is a 33 mill SP caldari but he is destined to become my alt. I feel so much happier playing on my 5 mill SP Minmatar scout. This merc will only spec into Matarti suits and weapons (equipment not included :P) and fights for the Republic in FW.
Still, if THE GREY CARDINAL could have a race change, I'd be very happy. As much as I want it to happen, I don't think it will so went a head and made COVERT now because I didn't want to have a merc who is 2 or more years old with masses of SP who isn't Minmatar. I also can't do that role play BS, I can#t be a 'Caldari who saw the error of his ways and found a love for the tribal nature of the Matari', **** that BS haha.
So yeah, either keep making noise about a race change, start a merc in your desired race or get good with mental RP gymnastics.I feel your pain yo!

You have resented your race, your heritage, you deny the blessing bestowed upon thee.
Your mother must have made love to a matari.

No surprises there. The Amarr wield phallic weapons as compensation. She clearly needed a real man, not some dress wearing, gold laden metrosexual riding through space in a big golden *****.

Mmmm dat gallente pure blood. It would be nice to change race and name so you can refine your character. But Ccp has always been against it. Guess I'm stuck with my okay name instead of a great name. |

Thanks for the feedback. I've been out of the loop for 7 months so I've missed a lot. Race does affect the game in your default classes. You're stuck with an assault suit of your chosen race for each of the presets.

You resent your momma for being Amarr? I feel sorry for her.
Once we have a custom character creator you can just RP your loyalties to whomever and dress up your avatar appropriately. My main in EVE is Gallente with strong ties to Gallente but prefers to live in the Republic. His official pilot photo shows it too.
