logi's with TARs back in 1.0? Personally, I never got level 4 in 1.0 because I was using the scrambler rifle (before the buff), but it seems pretty similar.

I picked up level four about a month after the nerf; never really used it . Same reason as you - ScR.

I am inclined to agree, though.
Particularly because of the damage profile if the CR meaning it's awesome against everything.

(I mean really; burst CR kills armour as fast as ScR does, if not faster.

They're the ones that QQ'ed that RR's are OP so their CR wouldn't get nerfed much.

Could never get into the TAR, myself. Dunno why. The CR "feels" better, something about the burst mechanic just seems like a proper tactical assault rifle as opposed to the single shot of the Gallente version.

Anyway, I really like the ScR but I use the CR more now because it has one very critical benefit: waaay lower fitting costs than the ScR. It's allowed me to use better equipment. That's the bottom line.

 I don' think so.

The TAR could take full advantage of turbo, whereas the CR kind can't.

Its a bit OP, but I don't think it, or the RR, is as OP as people claim.

The turbo controller is lame. And it seems as if the faster I spam R1 the lower the RoF I get. It also seems that way with the scrambler pistol.

I usually use the Scrambler Pistol right on its cap since I got used to it, but when the frames do down, I only shot once for every 3 seconds because it cannot keep up with itself. Sad, really.

Same with the TAR. If you get used to the RoF, toy can actually fire a lot quicker. With the CR, you just have to let that thing lose. I don't think I have hit the cap on that thing yet.

Yeah. Anyone who suggests the CR is more OP than the old TAR has a suspect memory. It easily outranged and out-DPS'ed everything else in the game at the time, and seemed like it was specifically built with modded controllers in mind, it was a match made in
heavenhell. The CR has that little delay that makes it harder to abuse with modded controllers (IMO the ScR can be abused easier if you're careful not to overheat too much, saw some asshat the other night who was just running blindly into crowds firing one at an absurd rate. Killed himself twice but was otherwise unfortunately quite effective.).
It also has more competition from the ScR and especially RR. Old TAR had no such counter.

CR is ridiculously good, but it's no TAR.
