I've been thinking about this for a bit, the Smart Deploy needs it name changed to Auto Deploy there isn't nothing Smart about this name, example: deploying you in the middle of a camped spawn how is that smart? If it was smart it would look for a random location away for the enemy not smack dab in the middle of them, just saying. |

Just wait until the minmatar kamakazi suit is released. I hear instead of armor plates you put remote explosives in your low slots and nitro in your highs ;)

I don't mind the "dumb" deploy. They don't call it Ambush for nothing.
I've been in a few of those ambushes where we were cornered in a bunker and getting mowed down.
I learned from the first beating. The second time I was in such a predicament I spawned my scout w/ uplinks and while the rest of the blues were getting their butts wiped I made a mad dash up the stairs and over the wall while taking fire, then made for the hills. Dropped my two links and suddenly blues were free of the carnage.
Its up to the team to find a solution. Ambushes are not fair by design. |

Random deploy/spawn whichever you prefer

Agree here, i think it smart just for CCP to name it smart, but its system is sometimes really stupid.
Auto will be great compromise between smart and dumb deploy
