Would anyone be against this? It would make sense because those who have the money and time to spend should have the opportunity to be rewarded.

Your cap is already extended by boosters. Anything more then that would be pay to win.
Have a great day.

I'm confused. I thought boosters just increased the amount of SP you could get in a battle. This new SP Extended could not be used in conjunction with it. Once you cap out, you only get about 1500 SP. I mean for your SP Cap to be reset.

I would definitely be against this idea.
Boosters already extend your max weekly cap to as much as over 200,000 SP. Keep in mind that boosters are already seen as borderline pay to win to some people. What you're suggesting will just increase that perception even further. Pay to win is one stigma CCP is trying to avoid.
Pay to win is something that carries serious negative connotations. Not that many people like pay to win anyways. It's a taboo subject. Pay to win in a video game is like waving a copy of Playboy in front of a evangelical church.

It does, however, make you able to reach 285,000 before capping out.

A normal cap is around 190,000 SP. With active boosters you take it to 285,000. Your passive SP is 168,000 every week. Add a passive booster and now it's 252,000.
THATS A LOTTA NUTS!
If you have the time and money, use both boosters.
PS: why would anyone deserve to be rewarded for having money and spare time? Let's better reward the people who have jobs, life, and still take the time to play the game and be good at it. That's the whole point of the weekly cap, actually. I'm not one of those people btw, it's just what seems fair to me. |

To expand on the effects that boosters have on the game I made this chart a while back.
