designed to be a sink hole and a new skill for the player owned markets, the trading skill will reduce the ISK cost of all items you purchase. It will cost a tonne of isk for the skill books, say 30 million for the first, and 300k SP for level one. This will reduce ISK costs of all market items, by 2.5%. every level after increments in 2.5% blocks. so at the end, 12.5% isk is cut off all items and the trader can buy and sell gear on the market as he or she pleases.
some tweaks etc should be made to the idea in terms of number, but the principal remains.
opinions?

A discount to player made prices? Who's accounting for it? Server based subsidies?
I must have gotten something wrong here.
In any case, all trades will most likely be taxed at some percentage of net-worth that is paid to the server (i.e. is gone) in the effort to affect the economy when needed and as an ISK sink. The EVE side has a skills that reduce those taxes, giving traders the net effect I assume you are trying to achieve.

So, like EvE? Sure.
Those skills reduce taxes on the things you buy, though, not give a discount. Let's say you want to buy a militia AR for 100 isk. Without skills, it would cost 110 isk because of taxes if you don't have your skills maxed out. If you do, it would cost 101 isk.
It works better this way. |

afraid you did. Its a discount to AI prices to shift and sell on the market. some items may profit, some items will make a loss. but the point is that less money leaves your wallet long term.

-1 where is the dislike button?
i would be in favor of a cheep skill that reduces the NPC market prices with a base price of 5000 sp and a x2 training speed.
I could give you 10 reason why the Dust team cant get the Amarr tank style right but they are all out of care.

...what? you dislike the whole idea because the figures are off.. whats the point in reducing the entire cost of the market by 10% for like 50k sp?
