I keep seeing "non charged 200" and "charged 600" per strike for the Proto knives.....
If you attack someone with a half charged knife, is it 200, or somewhere in the middle between 200 and 600? |

Proto knives do 800 damage charged if both swipes connect and 400 if not charged. If that helps? |

I think your numbers are off - but that might be because your including suit bonus?
If your right about the 2nd part, then a quick swipe will always = anything less than a full charge.
I suspected that might be the case, but I had to ask

Probably between 200 and 600. Proportional to the percentage charged. But that is just my guess, I haven't tested it.

Not adding suit bonus I believe the proto knives are 200 base dmg and if so that is per swipe lol I can kill 700+hp suits without proficiency with both charge swipes connecting it could be a bit lower maybe 750+ dmg but not sure I just kill things xD |

Logically, this would make sense...but I suspect that Kira might be right.....that unless its fully charged, your only getting the uncharged value.

It's 200 uncharged, 400 charged. I've very sure that partial charge doesn't provide a damage boost.
Respec in 1.8 due to huge battlefield role shift for MinLogi!

All I know is 1 charged ishukone Nova Knive does 400 damage. If both swipes connect, they do 800 total damage not including any bonuses.

Cyrius Li-Moody mentions how it works in that video. However, there was a change:
"Wanted to point out your damage model is incorrect. I (being a proto mini scout with pro 5 knives) have done extensive testing. Currently Nova Knife Damage is 2.5 times the base at a full charge.
Basic knives no proficiency or bonus with a full charge do 225 damage per swipe (if base is 90).
Advance Knives do 325 per swipe (if base is 130).
Proto knives do 525 per swipe.
Now put that on a proto minmatar scout with proficiency V Ishakone Nova Knives do 714 Damage per Swipe fully charged.
We tried to test headshots as well but a damage increase didn't occur. This could be from one of two things You can't headshot a blue dot. Nova knifes do not receive a headshot damage bonus even though a 150% shield increase can be seen via efficiency HUD." --Radar R4D-47 |

And this is why I have little worries about the damage mod nerf. Knives are already awesome by themselves. Of course I do feel sorry for the AV folks.
