Do you see them as a go-to weapon when you quickly need to kill your enemy? Do you see them as a weapon on it's own?
Seeing the Bolt and the Ion pistol I would think you are going for the support weapon but then there is the Magsec (assault rife for less PG/CPU)
Caldari are masters of hand to hand combat.

Well they are sidearms, your only supposed to use them to be dramatic or when your on the ground bleeding out, or both.

I use them to kill bleeding clones and destroy equipement. Make good use of the ammo since its probably gonna wasted when i die. |

Well, the ScP is easily the best weapon in the game, so I use it as my primary weapon.

What is up with this crap? Why do you all think this? Any weapon can be a primary, it's just useful if you use it in it's regard. Special Forces units all across the world use SMG's. They are cheaper, easier to wield and do better in urban environments.
If Sidearms were never supposed to be main weapons, they wouldn't cost so much cpu and pg. Am I the only one that specced into nova knives and smg's?

I dont think they know what they want to do with sidearms arms so we get a mix of last ditch support weapons and SMGs that are good enough to be primary weapons on their own
I'll start my own war, with hookers, and blackjack!
In fact forget the war and the blackjack.

I hear ion pistol will be garbage because if you fully charge the shot, your gun will immediately overheat after that one shot. 300 dmg is not really enough if it immediately overheats afterward. Other weapons could easily out dps it, minus the flaylock. It'd only be good with a headshot from behind...
