I'll start by saying I'm not a NK user. I was chatting with a friend the other day and I had an idea that it'd be cool if you could throw your NK's. I know everyone is gonna scream COD but hear me out. What if you only got two and they reloaded like uplinks ( so you wouldn't get more off of a NH ) restrict them to around 70 damage. You'd still be able to use them normally but you'd have an option should your target get out of range with a sliver of HP. It'd also be a fun niche weapon. Maybe give it a headshot bonus, I don't know. My only concern would be CCP making it OP and us seeing a bunch of lame throwing knife spam.
What do you guys think? |

I can work with throwing nova knives, but for **** sake don't you dare nerf their damage.
Also, I want to recover my knives from dead corpses. But seeing a hail of knives spammed from nanohives sound very tempting.

I think he meant nurf the damage to thrown knives (no damage change to normal function).
This would be interesting because after throwing one you would have to fight with only a single knife.
Problem with this is that if you can throw both of your knives then you run the risk of making your fit invalid (no other weapon to switch to)

I use them as sidearms but then again my most effective knife fit uses an SMG as a primary.

Yea I never really use them in game. I tend to be a range fighter. I do throw knives for hobby in real life and I always love seeing it in games. |
