It's not possible to phrase this so that it wouldn't be OOC so I posted it here. Yes, about a fourth are about slavery but, I have to find out from somewhere, and would you prefer my source be Gallente?
Most of these aren't really important, but that doesn't stop me from wondering them.
What I would like to ask is:
1) Is slavery a critical part of the society or the Faith?
2) Is it possible to follow the Faith without supporting slavery, even if you don't act against it?
3) Are there any sects that fall under #2? Would they be considered conservative or progressive?
4) About how many generations is it before a slave can expect to be freed?
5) Do freed slave generally go on to become lower, middle, or upper classes?
6) Is everyone allowed to interpret the scriptures? Or just a select group of priests?
7) Are you allowed to have doubts about the Emperor/Empress, or is it an "always remain faithful" situation?
8) Has an Emperor/Empress every been removed from the throne?
9) Is it believed that god is in this world and is everywhere at once, or is it a more reclusive "you must prove your worth" relationship?
10) Is there going to be/was there a Messianic figure? (ex: Jesus)
11) What order are the loyalties? Faith, Empress, Empire, self, etc.
12) Are the True Amarr the largest ethnicity in the Empire, or do any of the individual slave populations outnumber them (Brutor, Khanid, etc.)? If not, do the entire population of slaves combined outnumber them?
13) What is the relationship with the Khanid Kingdom? Is it a member, independent state with close ties, or a full part of the empire that just happens to have a unique region name?
14) Has the Empire since its founding had a war that started with a defensive action? (Empire was attacked, not counting
current FW)
15) Has there ever been a civil war?
16) How closely tied are religion and education? (ex: Do you have to be able to quote the scriptures as part of your grades?)
17) Is anyone allowed to join the church as a priest or only "nobles"? (ex: Commoners, repentant criminals, non-True Amarr, etc.)
18) Is priesthood considered an influential position in Society?
19) Do you have politicians? If so, have any been removed from office because of intervention from the church?
20) Is the church the government? If not, are the church and Military closely knit, or do those actions mostly fall to the Federal government? Has the church acted against the Government before?
* I have a few more questions, but have run out of time to type them. I will either update the OP or post later with them as they come back to me. (I'm likely to forget them.)
Thanks for answering any of these that you can!
