Man oh man these video game movie announcements just keep on coming don't they? Yes It appears that the critically-acclaimed PlayStation 3 game: The Last Of Us is in fact receiving a feature length film. The movie will be distributed by Screen Gems: An American film production company and subsidiary company of Sony Pictures Entertainment's Columbia TriStar Motion picture group. The script will be written by Neil Druckmann(the creative director over at Naughty Dog). On behalf of Naughty Gog, The project will also be produced by Co-Presidents' Evan Wells and Christophe Balestra, as well as Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley, along with Sam Raimi via their Ghost House Pictures banner.Here's the source of the news if wish to read more about it.
So yeah, that's happening. Also If any of you are fans of The Last of Us, feel free to comment below. I'm really interested in hearing your opinion on this particular piece of news.

I really liked Street Fighter with Raul Julia as M Bison.
It wasn't the best of cinema, and maybe I was just too young to know better, but at least I liked it.
Mario Bros with Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo however... ugh.

You know the funny thing about the Super Mario bros. movie is that even though it was one of the worst video game movie to ever exist in cinema history, it apparently received a sequel.........in web comic form....... ( .__.)

Well, they didn't mess up the Hunt for Red October, and the Tom Clancy stories all kinda are a bit similar, so I doubt they can **** it up

I hope it'll be good. But usually movies from video games aren't. I hope this is the rare case of it not being like that.
I'm not gunna lie, I'm pretty excited for it. And I'll definitely see it

I hope so. I forget who they're casting as Sam Fisher though. I saw it on some newsletter or something... I dunno, I'll check for us.
