MD buff is necessary. Not to have people running around in Scouts suits with it, but for Assaults suits to deny the enemy of that area.

From what I've seen so far, most of the QQing is probably from the players who rely on a certain few fits every game that can do it all... for instance dmg modded armor tank suits (gank fit/slayer logi). Thats just an example of one of the most commonly used fits, I guess some people like their easy mode a little too much to just roll with these changes.

This is the first patch i fully get behind i can see a few questionable things like the mass driver buff but on the hole nothing that could not be hotfixed i truely am looking forword to 1.8 and my shiny golden ninja :-P

I am simply concerned that weapons will become to niche.

E.G ScR will take out shield well and be **** poor against armour...... sure weapons should be more effective at one than another but not to the point of making weapons highly niche, highly specialised.....

I particularly love the people complaining about damage mods, it's easy to see who relies on damage stacked glass cannons.

You mean like every other weapon currently in the game that is not a rifle(sniper & laser excluded). Rifles out class even niche weapons, in their very own niche(except AV, which sucks anyway). This is not ok. Rifles will still be plenty powerful. Just not the end all, be all that they are ATM.

Our light weapons are not supposed to handle every situation equally well. That's why you fit a side arm.

Why not use your anti-armor SMG - which can get up to a 135% bonus to armor - once your ScR strips the shields. You're too old and too knowledgeable a player to not be able to do that.

This thread just summarises all that is wrong with sections of the Player Base .. how on earth does anything you put in the OP help this game in any way ? And I've been playing this for a long time and don't intend to go anywhere, the QQ is one of the worst problems in this game.
It's why I have avoided these forums for so long, I came here looking for somebody to say something interesting, instead I got the examples you cleverly didn't bold in your quote.

I actively try to encourage growth within Dust by training new players and helping them not get torn to shreds by proto stompers, tank spammers and general FotM chasers, I want this game to grow but the thread after thread bitching does not help CCP in anyway shape or form.
Also a lot of the posts in these threads degrade into name calling and saying one player base bitched and moaned because they are no skill scrubs and thus got a buff.

This attitude of everyone sucks but me is what's really pathetic.
If you're not the one saying these things then why does this thread upset you so?

Some of the best players do not use these forums for the above reasons, some have even had to make their own alt corps so they can have their own forum to keep the asinine whiners and name callers out.

And the locker room is for off topic, suggestions to improve the game goes in the ideas and feedback pages, if this was trying to help the game it belongs there, this is on the topic of the game and the player base, if logibro disagrees he can feel free to move it.
