Was in a Dom earlier the team were 3 vs 4. One organized 3-man corp squad and Duna corp member and me and two other blues. I went in, risked hacking the objective alone thinking I'll see the other two soon enough. I had reached the objective first cause I spawned on the ground and put those two ADV regs to work. So I get killed, a few minutes after hacking the letter. So as I'm respawning I'm checking my map and still see them sitting in the MCC. So now I'm like I guess I'm literally soloing this match. In short I lost and died a lot cause I refuse to sit in the Redline or leave the battle. No the blues didn't leave the battle, or ever leave the MCC. On the plus side my CR got a work out and I got 256,000 ISK. What about the being kicked for inactivity? But I'll take the ISK and SP any day.

Let's say you're sprinting forward, then out of nowhere you are brought back where you were a few seconds ago and run through the same 10m.

Idiots, rubber banding, in this usage, means literally putting a rubber band on your DS3 to fool the anti-AFK logic. |

Your best/worst AFKers/literal solo games? I've had almost this in a pub skirmish. I think the sides were 4v5 ( I was on the 4 and the 5 included at least one three man corp squad). Me and one other were the only ones who left the MCC. Eventually I gave up trying to figh back and just tried to see how long I could go between deaths because I'm never going to camp or stick in the redline and it usually takes so long to get into a match for me (usually between 1 and 2 minutes) that there is no way I'm going to leave one.

CCP spent untold amounts of money and time developing an anti-AFK solution. We beat it with a 2 cent rubber band. CCP decided to focus on developing the game first.
Best PVE idea I've seen.

Or the poor mans version they set the controller upside down with the sticks held in a direction. For when you just can't afford a rubber band.

Even a homeless man can afford a rubber band these days.
