ok so i started an alt to try different stuff met a brand new player in the battle academy so i squaded with him to teach him about skills and ****. so first match we play i learn the experience is op as **** i went 568-6 in a standard med frame suit but it wasnt that hard since half the enemy team was shooting the cru. but thats not the point of this post its that after one battle they graduated me from the academy with less then 1mill sp and 3000wp. how is a new player suppose to survive like this. next battle which i sat out since i couldn't do academy anymore he went 22-4 using what i taught him in which he was then removed from the academy. i told him that now that your with the normal players your going to die alot for awhile untill you hit about 3mill sp and can kinda fend for yourself. which he then replied "this game isn't very new player friendly is it" but the crazy part is on his own he discovered slayer logis and that militia tank were the only way for a new player to survive out side on the...
I don't like the Amarr but boy do they have style

Why do you think there are so many redline snipers and MLT tanks. It is literally the only way for new players to profit. Other wise it is just high risk with very little reward.
No you kill this blueberry hacking the CRU we are camping. I already killed the last 2.

Hopefully CCP will increase the requirements to graduate Battle Academy and also make a decent tutorial.

Reward? you get paid marginaly better for wining, but still chump change, its better to just spawn in an uplink suit toss them randomly around (in any gmae mode) then either hide or die then hide in the MCC and let the Uplinks make your meger profit for you.
Battle academy should be baised off your avrage weekly KDR, and time spent in. If you get higher than a 3.0 average KDR after a week it boots you, and after 2 weeks (14 day of logging in days not logged in dont count) it kicks youto prevent farming.
These forums must be located in the Californin country side, there is whine as far as the eye can see.

You went 568 kills for 6 deaths in a 150 clone dom where barely anybody uses medic and knows how to pick up and only got less then 3000wp potentially getting 490ksp. DAFUQ.
I agree this game needs to do a better job teaching newbies then buy a skill to get a couple militia suits.

naw 3.0 just means you learned how to shoot but knowing how to shot while in a standard suit with next to no core skills doesn't help against a 14mill sp scrub player. 5mill at least you can fight back somewhat
