All the problems we're about to see if/when 1.8 get's released is because of all of you constantly crying on the forums about how if CCP just changed the game a little you might actually be good at video games. As usual you refuse to accept any responsibility. Oh those five threads you created had nothing to do with this. And Saberwing over there is pretending like 1.8 hasn't been hanging on release for two months. I hope your proud of yourselves. Perverts

I always  when I see gamers who think they know move than the developers.
Don't get me wrong, sometimes a good idea is tossed out by a gamer but they rarely possess the patients and awareness to understand their request/suggestion.

Really, the two funniest things were the massive buffs to heavies and scouts. That being said the mid frame suits wont get adjusted until after 1.8. So essentially the philosophy lately has to been to buff everything and everyone is happy.

They didn't have to buff everything, or nerf everything. Just a few small changes would've made the game better. But then again it's very difficult to make everyone happy. Especially so many crybabies

How do you know that is the reasons? Seems like you are just finding a target to project your anger onto.
CCP has access to information you dont. They are able to see "Ok, X amount of unique accounts made in the last 90 days. X played for more than 1 hour, X started playing steady, X played 10 games and never came back". So they started making adjustments to expand the playerbase.
CCP wants this game to grow. You want your KDR to grow. Big difference, in that, if CCP cant make this game grow you wont have a KDR to worry about. |

Go me! I am really liking the changes so far, I think 1.8 is gonna be awesome. Some concerns have been raised, like about AV and I think if they were a little more mature about presenting these concerns CCP might take their points more seriously. To me 1.8 looks good! |

My personal opinion aside but considering the hard RR nerf and the changes to damage mods, I would say CCP was definitely influenced by what they read here. Especially since folks advocated for fairness for the new player.

I don't think they are gonna change it yet, unlike tankers AV is adapting its worth sticking amother month of it to see how it evolves.

NO ONE asked them to nerf the breach, burst, and tactical AR. Or to make a sidearm that's better than an AR. Or to reduce the AV grenade count to 2. Or to reduce the damage on swarm launchers.

The tanking "issue" can be solved with an LAV that has REs strapped to the front. Now redline railgunning needs to stop

In regards to the AR being nerfed. I use KBM and from the hip it feels as if the AR has more bullet spread than the Shotgun.
The skills come with time, teamwork is what we want.

1.8 is going to be so much fun im going with Scr/mag sec with a cloke so i can clean out your shields and finish you off with meh smg so many new varabiles with the new heavy suits too
