1.9 will not be PVE.
2.0 could be PVE, but who knows when that would be?
1.9 will be fixes to balance problems introduced in 1.8.
The good news is that after sweeping changes to Vehicles/AV in 1.7 and sweeping changes to Infantry in 1.8, we will probably not see anymore sweeping changes for quite some time, which is a good thing because sweeping changes lead inevitably to balance problems due to too many variables being changed at one. After 1.8 they will make smaller adjustments, so by 1.9 we may be getting closer to game balance.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I think 1.9 will be the last update before the next major expansion after fanfest, so 1.9 probably next month. Hopefully by then they change all of the medium suit layouts and CPU/PG as they promised they would.

CCP said they were switching to a quarterly update model a while back, so there will be nothing but hotfixes from now until around July or August.
Honestly, I expect them to shift to updates every six months before they go back to monthly updates.

IWS is not a dev. He's just a member of CPM0, meaning he's just a player with a gold star from CCP. |

Dude when I first started Warframe on PC I spent like -ú5 on some plat for slots and stuff. Afterwards the game gave me literally EVERYTHING. Tonnes of potato's (Catalysts) everything I could need. I didn't have to spend a penny as the game gave me too much.
PVE in Warframe is great but it is a little repetitive after a while but that's PVE in general imho.
For instance Starcraft 2 has some cool pve features but its PVP that keeps games going. PVE will always be boring and grindy after a while.
The only PVE type modes that are always fun are survival type game modes as they push you to your limits. (There is no 'winning' them) |
