I really doubt they'll touch officer weapons, as rare as they are. I can't remember if the Officer forge was nerfed or not. But my inclination is that, as you said, Balacs and Krins will be very nice indeed

Gat's were nerfed also iirc old base dps used to be 1500/2.1s. Info on officer weapons will most likely be in the patch notes.
EDIT: current stats are 1440/2.4s, I think.
