Some of us have been playing this game since E3, We have a better understanding of game mechanics and balance then CCP does. We have been through more updates then we can count and every time we experienced players find massive flaws in CCPs design plans guess what? they turn out right!
I don't need to wait, neither does any of the pro player base, we can size this update up easy now with our experience and understanding and see what the result will be.
Flaylocks? no surprise Original tac AR? no surprise MD buff? the first time around? No surprise original Dropship nerf? no surprise LAV Murder taxi? No surprise I Could go on for days with this.
We can see the writing on the wall before we even need to open our eyes.
We dont need to wait, we know what needs to be fixed before code lock.
Blame CCP for never having the ability/intelligence to run a dust test server.

I'm just mostly concerned with damage mods than anything else, especially coupled with these massive heavy buffs.
DUST is already riddled with huge SP costs for tiny returns, now you're talking a 2 % difference between militia and proto...that's just....I don't even know. I'd rather they just removed them completely in favor of something else at that point.
I would have prefered 3/5/7, personally

The 1.7 vehicle change demands rapid iteration. It was a huge change that significantly upset balance and requires the ability to quickly make small changes to work towards balance.
instead what we got was the initial upset followed by months of nothing. They simply released a huge change to production and walked away. |

I had figured that damage mods were getting nerfed, but 3/4/5? It almost seems pointless to use the complex mods. I probably won't even use damage mods anymore. Again, CCP takes something from "highly useful" to "why the **** would anyone use that now". One extreme to another.
