We have to chill out. I now that the majority of the player base are fed up with waiting for Uprising 1.8 to drop. I can feel you guys waiting to do the following things:
- Spend your hard-earned skill points into something that you really desired that was not in the game. A great example would be the new scouts and the heavies CCP introduced.
- Try out new builds since things are adjusted to be powerful or weaker than they were before.
- Play in starter fits just to see what is excellent, great, above average, average, below average, bad, and just terrible.
- anything else not mentioned
Now be that as it may, CCP did take a months time off work (Chinese New Year, Christmas, New Years) which rubbed everyone in a bad way. Not to mentioned a total of 3-4 month delay of 1.8 as well as people calling 1.7 Tanks 1.7 (cannot blame ya). But if we stuck it out this far still playing this average game, then there is some hope at the end of the road.
I also predict that people will call, quote end quote:
Quote: 1.8 will either make or break DUST 514 due to the extreme time to wait on it. Either they give us a refund in skill points or we quit.
or my personal favorite

Is it not bad enough that CCP had to lock post and threads on just mentioning the forbidden word "re-spec"? Was it due to people spamming and QQing for one? Who knows but let us get back to subject at hand.
We, the players, yes we do dictate how the game will turn out. However due to (I am guilty of the following) Bashing of CCP, crying about buff this decrease that, threatening to quit, and etc., we gave a bad player base impression to CCP. At this point I am surprised that they are tell us anything at this point. Keep in mind though CCP is also a guilty party as well which no one should have to explain.
CPMs, some of you guys are helpful but there are a hand-full in your party not helping remedy the problem at hand but would rather troll and make fun of people. This leads to a heavier QQing of the player base which was somewhat explained in other topics
TL:DR? For the time being, we waited long enough to stick it out with DUST, how could 2-3 more weeks of waiting hurt?
